<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an inexpensive configuration that can cope with various excitation patterns without increasing a circuit size in a stepping motor control circuit where a load to a CPU is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: There are a first pattern control means for storing the excitation patterns of motors 21 and 22 into the pattern register of a motor control circuit 2 by the setting of a control CPU 1, and for reading the excitation patterns of n bits from a specific address of the pattern register for supplying the patterns to external motor drivers 11 and 12, and a second pattern control means for reading the excitation patterns of the same n bits as the first pattern control means from the specific pattern of the pattern register for supplying the patterns to the external motor drivers 11 and 12. Additionally, there is an output control means for selecting a timing generation section that generates first and second pattern migration timing signals for indicating the change timing of the excitation patterns read by the first and second pattern control means, and a second output mode that is used in linking with a first output mode independently using the first and second pattern control means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
