PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control electric power supplied to a heating coil in a wide scope and reduce interference noise, electromagnetic noise, and electric power loss when using a plurality of induction heating apparatus simultaneously. SOLUTION: In a control method for the induction heating apparatus, a series circuit of diodes 21, 22, a series circuit of resonance capacitors 4, 5, and a series circuit of a switching arm having semiconductor switching elements 6, 7 and diodes 8, 9 are connected in parallel. Single phase alternating current power supply 1 is connected between an internal connection in the series circuit of the diodes and an internal connection in the series circuit of the capacitors. The heating coil 10 is connected between an internal connection in the series circuit of the switching arm and an internal connection in the series circuit of the capacitors, and capacitors 11 or 12, 13 are connected with the switching arm or the heating coil 10 in parallel to control conductivity ratio of the semiconductor switching element 6.
