<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excessive distortion detector for a portable terminal in which the situations of using portable terminals on the market can be grasped without disassembling the portable terminal and implementing a reproduction test. <P>SOLUTION: Inside the portable terminal, a substrate 1 on which electronic components for the portable terminal are mounted is incorporated and the substrate 1 is provided with a distortion gauge 2 located under the position of a push key 9 of a surface cover 8 of the portable terminal, a pad 3 for detecting a resistance value from the distortion gauge 2, a CPU 4 for capturing the resistance value from the distortion gauge 2, comparing/deciding that value and storing a distortion quantity, a liquid crystal display (LCD) 5 fitted on a display window in the middle of the surface cover 8 for displaying the captured distortion quantity, and a speaker 6 for performing a comparison/decision from the captured resistance value and sounding an alarm on the basis of the decision result of the CPU 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
