MANUFACTURING METHOD AND MANUFACTURING APPARATUS FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a manufacturing method and a manufacturing apparatus for a plasma display panel, capable of eliminating unnecessary gas before entering a superposition process for a back plate which is the main cause for generation of unnecessary gas exerting bad influence upon the display characteristic of an image of a plasma display panel. SOLUTION: A front plate process which is a manufacturing process for a front plate and a degassing process (S27) for the back plate 2 performed after the end of a back plate process which is a manufacturing process for a back plate are substantially ended. After that, a superposition process (S31) for the back plate and the front plate is performed. Since the front plate and the back plate are superposed one on the other in the state of eliminating unnecessary gas (S31), unnecessary gas will not be generated in the inside of the plasma display panel.
