摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that contamination on a slit glass for forming an image reading position causes waste of paper or trouble in transmission of information because it is not found until a defective image due to the contamination occurs. SOLUTION: A density plate for shading correction is moved to a reflection optical path from an original, thereby detecting the contamination of the slit glass at the time of shading correction.
