<p>A navigation apparatus (10) includes position detection means (11) for deciding the current position of a user according to the absolute position of the longitude and latitude obtained by using the electric waves from a plurality of artificial satellite going around the earth, storage means (14) for storing coordinates of longitude and latitude of a node on a scheduled route obtained by setting a starting point and a destination, display means (12) for displaying the current position and the scheduled route, and control means (16) for performing correction according to the current position to convert the absolute position and the angle data of the coordinates into distance data and calculating an element between the nodes to decide whether the distance between the element and the current position is within a predetermined rage, i.e., whether the current position is on the aforementioned scheduled route, thereby controlling display on the display means (12).</p> |
