<p>The telemedicine method and system disclosed includes at least one remote exam module (101) which in turn includes a plurality of optical devices (205, 207, 211) configured to examine a patient's eye, and a controller (203) for collecting and transmitting the examination data of the patient's eye. The information collected is transmitted via a communications link (202) to a diagnostic center (107) for analyzing the information collected at the remote exam module.
