<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sales management system capable of storing and displaying the information on goods at a stage when the goods are selected at a sales floor in shopping at a supermarket and the like, easily grasping the total amount of the goods to be purchased, and settling up the purchased goods together on the basis of the stored information, whereby a crowded state caused by payment for goods at a cash register can be relieved. <P>SOLUTION: The goods information is transmitted and received among an electronic tag recording the goods information in advance, a shopping cart for loading and carrying the goods with the electronic tags, and an electronic tag attached to the shopping cart, in a non-contact state. A client sums up the prices of the goods on the basis of the goods information recorded in the electronic tags taken in and out with respect to the shopping cart. The total price obtained by summing up the prices of the taken in and out goods, is displayed on a display device mounted on the shopping cart. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
