<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to make assembly of a shade to a holder simple and precise in a headlamp for a vehicle having a projector-type lamp unit with a movable shade. <P>SOLUTION: A shade 32 is supported capable of rotation on a holder 26 which is positioned between a reflector 24 and a projection lens 28 in a projector-type lamp unit 20. This support is carried out at a plurality of locations on the rotation axis Ax1 of the shade 32 and the support at these plural locations is carried out through a single shaft 40 extending in the rotation axis Ax1 direction. Thereby, assembly of the shade 32 to the holder 26 can be done in one lot and thus, compared with the conventional case in which the support of the shade by the holder is done individually through a rotating pin at each of the plural locations on the rotation axis, simple assembly becomes possible and precise assembly can be carried out so as to obtain a precise rotation axis Ax1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
