<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an illegal use of a credit card more effectively than in a conventional method. <P>SOLUTION: A CAT (credit authorization terminal) 1 is provided with a card reader part 9 reading face image data from the card, a face feature point extraction part 14 for extracting feature points from the face image data read by the card reader part 9 as feature point data, a communication circuit 13 for sending the feature point data extracted by the face feature point extraction part 14 to a host computer 3, and a display part 10 for displaying the face image data read by the card reader part 9 and results of certification sent from the host computer 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
