<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, in a drive device for a piezoelectric actuator, a high voltage output being applied to the piezoelectric actuator when an input signal is 0 V owing to the destruction of a part of an internal circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A drive voltage comparison circuit 9 compares magnitudes of the partial voltage value of an output voltage of a driver voltage detection circuit 8 and the voltage value of the input signal. When the voltage value of the input signal is smaller, a control circuit 11 transmits a control signal S2 to a switching element 11 to turn the switching element 11 into a cut-off state in a short time of 10 μsecs or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
