<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery achieving the lithium ion secondary battery with high capacity, hardly generating internal short circuit, and having excellent low temperature characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A mixture containing a Li-Co composite oxide having a mean particle size of 7-13 μm and the Li-Co composite oxide having a mean particle size of 1-6 μm in a ratio of 1:0.2 to 1.5 is used in an active material, and a mixture containing a flake graphitized carbon having a mean particle size of 1-6 μm and carbon black having a mean particle size of 0.5 μm or less in a ratio of 1:0.01 (weight ratio) is used in a conductive material, and ratio (weight ratio) of the active material to the conductive material is specified to 1:0.01 to 0.1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
