PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that starting conductor inserting slots provided on an outside circumferential part of a rotor core narrows a magnetic path of reluctance magnetic flux, which causes iron cores between slots to be magnetically saturated, and that the magnetically saturated iron core reduces the reluctance magnetic flux, which consequently leads to decrease of reluctance torque and deterioration of operating characteristics. SOLUTION: Of the outside circumferential part of the rotor core, the slots are configured not to be provided between neighboring magnets where the reluctance magnetic flux, a source of generating the reluctance torque, flows so that the flow of the magnetic flux may not be blocked.
