PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio base-station equipment that can efficiently make slot assignment in the case where spatial multiplexing possible slots and spatial multiplexing restricted slots are present in a mixed state, and to provide a method and program for slot assignment. SOLUTION: The channel assignment control section 14 of a spatial multiplexing base station 1000 judges whether or not a terminal requesting slot assignment is suitable for spatial multiplexing based on incoming received power, an incoming receiving timing deviation, and a terminal fading speed. The control section 14 preferentially assigns a terminal which is not suitable for spatial multiplexing to a multiplexing restricted slot and a terminal suitable for spatial multiplexing to a multiplexing possible slot based on a table of multiplexing possible slot information stored in a memory 15.
