PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home security system capable of flexibly corresponding to user's various needs. SOLUTION: A management device 10 in a system S repeats a monitoring device 20 of each house 2 and a portable telephone 41 of each user A. Which service is provided to each user A, immediate notification service or requested notification service is recorded in a data base 13b built in the device 10. When abnormality generation information is received from the monitoring device 20 in a certain house 2, the device 10 judges which service is to be provided to a resident of the house 2 and immediately informs the terminal 41 of the abnormality generation when the resident is an immediate notification service user. In the case of a requested notification service user, the abnormality generation information is stored in the data base 13a, and when a notification request command is outputted from the user A, the stored information is read out and transmitted.
