The invention relates to a seal, particularly for a smoke-control sliding door, comprising a stationary side part (1) and a movable wing (2) which is movable parallel along the stationary side part (1). Sealing elements which are disposed on the side part (1) and the wing (2) engage with each other at the end of the closing movement of the movable side part. Said sealing elements are provided with an essentially rigid, laterally protruding part and an elastically deformable sealing profile (22) that protrudes in the direction of the part. Such a seal ensures safe and smoke-tight sealing of the secondary closing edge of a smoke-control sliding door with simple means and at low production costs.
