PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyphase oscillator that allows each oscillator adopting the DDS system to surely capture frequency data in the same timing. SOLUTION: The polyphase oscillator wherein a reference clock generator 30 gives the same reference clock to a plurality of the oscillators 10, 20 adopting the DDS system and an output waveform corresponding to the frequency data is obtained from the oscillators 10, 20, includes a frequency variable means 31 for changing the frequency of the reference clock and the frequency variable means 31 sets a low frequency to the reference clock when the polyphase oscillator allows the oscillators 10, 20 to capture the frequency data and increases the frequency of the reference clock up to a desired high frequency after that.
