PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly restore a high resolution three-dimensional image in a wide range. SOLUTION: Two line image pickup devices are disposed so that their optical axes can be prevented from being made in parallel with each other, and that the line direction can be prevented from being made in parallel with the moving direction, and those line image pickup devices are configured to photograph the line images of the same scenery while moving. Two longitudinal images are prepared by compounding the line images in the time axial direction so that the photographic interval distances of the line images can be fixed based on the photographic place information, and the same objects on the two longitudinal images are made correspond, and a distance and height from the moving path to the object to be imaged is calculated based on the deviation in the time axial direction of the image pickup positions of the corresponding same objects, the fixed interval distances, and the line direction and optical axial direction. The similarity of the local region of the first longitudinal image and the local region of the second longitudinal image is calculated, and the distance and height to the object to be imaged is calculated based on the similarity and the shape model.
