PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a retrieving person to determine whether a composition of a retrieval result is a desired retrieval result or not before referring to the composition of the retrieval result. SOLUTION: A document control application 121 extracts at first one or a plurality of retrieval terms from a master document to select a useful retrieval term. Then, a document 140 is retrieved using the retrieval term and a weight thereof to calculate adaptation of the document of the retrieval result. The document extracted by the retrieval is displayed on a display screen of a Web browser 111 together with the document adaptation via Web server 123. The document adaptation is displayed by a weighted distribution of the retrieval terms, and is reflected to the retrieval result in a real time to be visualized, when a user changes the weight of the retrieval term.
