An apparatus (10) for supplying pressurised gas to a plurality of gas outlets (20a, 20b.) from an upstream gas supply (11), in which each of the plurality of gas outlets (20a, 20b.) in use is connected to a common gas feed line (13, 14, 15) via a respective valve (45), each valve (45) being adapted to close to prevent the flow of gas downstream of the valve (45) in the event of the integrity of the feed line (13, 14, 15) being breached downstream of the respective valve (45), to prevent the escape of gas from the breached feed line, and wherein each valve (45) includes a valve member (46) which is moveable into engagement with a valve seat (51) to close the valve (45) , and a valve member damping means (60) to resist movement of the valve member (46) into engagement with the valve seat (51).
