<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a color recognition parameter by analyzing the photographic image of a color sample, and to reduce any user's labor to be imposed on the setting of the color recognition parameter. <P>SOLUTION: The photographic image of a color sample including a marker in a specific color is obtained, and a signal indicating the brightness of the photographic image is binarized, and a marker area is detected, and the color signal of the marker area is plotted on a color plane, and labeling processing is executed to the plot result, and a color recognition parameter for specifying the color area of the marker in the specific color is set from the labeling processing result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
