<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer gel electrolyte having high ion conductivity, formation retaining ability under a high temperature and good strength and elasticity. <P>SOLUTION: The polymer gel electrolyte contains a cross-linked material formed by cross-linking clathrate compounds having cyclic molecules clathrate with linear macromolecules and having substituent groups at both ends of the linear macromolecules, and an electrolytic solution.
