PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a system for managing a telephone directory which can deal with formats of a plurality of different telephone directories. SOLUTION: The system for managing the telephone directory comprises communication terminals 1-1, 1-2 having telephone directory functions, and a telephone directory managing server 2 for storing telephone directory master data. The server 2 forms telephone directory data corresponding to the plurality of the formats from the telephone directory master data, and distributes the data to the terminals 1-1, 1-2.
