PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk transport device which can transport without trouble not only a large diameter disk but also a small diameter disk at the vertical setting position, and can load and unload the disks to a turntable without trouble. SOLUTION: The main tray 61 of the disk drive has a large diameter supporting portion 61D and a small diameter supporting portion 61S lowered by a predetermined height. A claw part 66 which can engage with the lower side circumferential edge portion of the small diameter disk is formed in the circumferential part of the small diameter supporting portion. When a small diameter disk 5 is loaded to the turntable, the circumferential edge portion engaged with the claw part surmounts the claw part to move to the clamper side, and is interposed between the clamper and the turntable. When the small diameter disk is unloaded from the turntable, the circumferential edge portion surmounts the claw part to move to the turntable, and the interposed state between the clamper and the turntable is released.
