The basketball hoop has a box (10) enclosing an extendable frame (70), a net (96), a backboard (20), retaining plate, bottom support (40), two connecting rods (50), and a supporting rod (60). The framework sidewalls have connecting rods (71) made from tubular material riveted together and telescopic to allow it to be pulled out to present a framework from beneath the basketball hoop. The framework slopes downwards to the user and is covered with a net to act as a base being supported by the bottom support positioned horizontally between the two framework sidewalls allowing the basketball to be channeled back to the user.
