<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character string processing system capable of correctly converting even a character string wherein a continuous part to be converted into a Japanese Kana-character is held by marks indicating the part to be converted into Japanese Kana-character, without discrimination by groups, into Japanese Kana-character by a Japanese Kana-character converting system which recognizes the part to be converted into the Japanese Kana-character by a unit of group. <P>SOLUTION: When a title character string of a x-th group is read out, the character string wherein the mark 'hat' is attached to the head of the character string of the x-th group is read out, when the total number of the marks 'hat' included in the character strings from the leading group to the (x-1)-th group for designating the part to be converted into the Japanese Kana-character is odd number, and the character string wherein the mark 'hat' attached to the end of the character string of the x-th group, is read out, when the total number of the marks 'hat' included in the character strings from the leading group to the x-th group is even number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
