<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a complicated power supply line layout around a home computer by using the receptacle of commercial power supply for another peripheral devices, and disusing the same for a negative ion generating device. <P>SOLUTION: The electron emitting negative ion generating device 1 is connected to an interface of the home computer 10 through a cable 12, and driven by the electric power supplied from the interface.
