PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting method of coated wires so made to be fitted with a thin and highly workable protective layer while securing a given strength at a welded part, in terminal-less connection of coated wires. SOLUTION: A plurality of coated wires 10, 11 with outer periphery of their conductive wire parts 10a, 11a coated with resin-made insulators 10b, 11b are overlaid on each other in parallel or in crossing. After overlaid parts are welded by a heating method such as a ultrasonic welding or a thermo-compression bonding in a welding process, a cyanoacrylate system adhesive 14 is applied on the welded parts 13 of the coated wires 10, 11 in an adhesive applying process, and at the same time, the cyanoacrylate system adhesive 14 applied is cured in an adhesive curing process to form a protective layer 15.
