<p>Fine expanded PTFE fiber with round cross section is obtained by twisting flat stretched filaments and subsequently further stretching under heat treatment. These filaments can be used for fabrics, among other applications, and they present the following properties: low shrinkage, low elongation under tension and high resistance, besides having uniform dimensions along its length, fray resistance and when woven into a fabric, the same presents better finishing.</p> |
