<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matched filter capable of achieving miniaturization at a low cost, and reducing the operation time by reducing the capacity of an equipped memory. <P>SOLUTION: The digital matched filter 100 applied to a synchronism acquisition section in a GPS (global positioning system) receiver has an FFT (fast Fourier transformation) processing section 103 for applying FFT processing to an IF (intermediate frequency) signal, a negative frequency removing filer 104 for removing the frequency components of a frequency band signal obtained by the section 103, a memory 105 for buffering the frequency band signal obtained by the filter 104, a spread code generator 107 for generating the same spread code as that in an RF (radio frequency) signal from a GPS satellite, an FFT-processing section 108 for applying FFT processing to the spread code generated by the generator 107, and a memory 110 for buffering at least the frequency region signal obtained by the section 108. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
