PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encryption method and a decryption method by which encrypted information can be easily held and transported.

SOLUTION: An encrypted DNA fragment having a DNA sequence corresponding to information to be encrypted is prepared, the prepared encrypted DNA fragment is integrated in the DNA of a λ phage, and a λ phage 4 integrated with the encrypted DNA fragment is integrated in a colon bacillus 10.
