<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily select the optimum character string in a short time and to prevent the inadequate processing caused by misunderstanding by a changer, when the used character string is changed. <P>SOLUTION: When the character string having the number of characters less than the designated number is selected with respect to a designated character string group by a computer system, each of character string groups, a number of character string corresponding to each character string of each character string group, and the number of characters are stored, the designated character string group and the each stored character string group are compared, when the designated character string group and one of the stored character string groups are agreed with each other, the designated number of characters and the number of characters of each stored character string of the agreed character string group are compared, and the number of character string corresponding to the character string of the number of characters same as the designated number of characters, or closest to the designated number of characters among the number of characters smaller than the designated number of characters, is selected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
