ELECTRODELESS DISCHARGE LAMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless discharge lamp capable of surely fixing a vessel to an end of a life of a lamp, and capable of achieving uniform light emitting performance over the whole of the light emitting region by securing position accuracy between the vessel and an induction coil. SOLUTION: A vessel receiving part 22 integrally formed with a bobbin 20 is a shallow bottomed cylinder as a whole, and a wall part 221 is formed on an edge of an aperture. The wall part 221 is a fringe part formed at four portions along the peripheral direction, and curvature work is applied to an upper surface thereof so as to correspond to a shape of the vessel 10. A groove part 224 is formed on a side wall surface of the vessel receiving part 22 in a region between the wall part 221 and a bottom surface 223. An over-rotation preventing wall 225 and a partition part 226 are respectively formed on both edges of the groove part 224. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
