PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor that hardly exerts a adverse effects caused by a faulty connection of a permanent magnet and a support member for the magnet, and to provide a motor component by which the motor can be provided, and a manufacturing method for the motor component. SOLUTION: A rotor 1 comprises a yoke 2, the permanent magnet 3, a hub 4, and a sleeve 5. The permanent magnet 3 is constituted of a magnet body 31 and a metallic layer 32 formed on at least a part of the surface of the body. The yoke 2 and the permanent magnet 3 are jointed and fixed by heat-calking or press-insertion. The metallic layer 32 is composed of a material containing Ni. The average thickness of the metallic layer 32 is 1 to 50μm. The yoke 2 is composed of a material containing Fe or Al as a main component. When the inside diameter of the yoke 2 in a natural condition at the vicinity of room temperature is set D<SB>1</SB>(mm), and when the outside diameter of the permanent magnet 3 in a natural condition at the vicinity of room temperature is set D<SB>2</SB>(mm), a relation of 1.00025≤D<SB>2</SB>/D<SB>1</SB>≤1.00105 is satisfied.
