PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element forming method capable of increasing an emission lifetime also when an organic layer is crystallized. SOLUTION: This light emitting element forming method comprises the steps of setting the temperature of a glass substrate 1 containing a transparent electrode 2 near the glass transition point temperature of a hole injection layer 3 formed of 1-TNATA and locally crystallizing the portion of the hole injection layer 3 positioned near the upper surface of the transparent electrode 2 by depositing the hole injection layer 3 on the transparent electrode 2 of the glass substrate 1 while cooling the glass substrate 1.
