PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new coaxial cable and a coaxial multi-conductor cable that can effectively avoid deterioration of electrical property caused by the plastic tape having a metal layer. SOLUTION: As a plastic tape 4 having a metal layer that is provided on the insulating body 3 covering the inner conductor 2, a tape body 7 having a metal layer 8 made of electrical plating on the surface is adopted. Thereby, even if the outer diameter of the insulating body is thin, the tape 4 can be provided on the insulating body 3 easily and steadily, and the thickness of the metal layer 8 can be secured sufficiently. Thereby, deterioration of the electrical property caused by the plastic tape 4 having the metal layer can be steadily avoided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
