PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk supporting device capable of improving the positioning accuracy of a magnetic head while suppressing the rise of a manufacture cost, and a magnetic disk device. SOLUTION: A plurality of magnetic disks 12a, 12b and 12c and spacer rings 58 positioned between the magnetic disks are fitted to the hub 44 of a motor and they are clamped between a disk receiving part 54 provided on one end of the hub and a clamp member 60 fixed to the other end of the hub. The outer diameters of the disk receiving part and the clamp member are roughly equal and the outer diameter of the spacer ring is formed larger than the outer diameter of the clamp member. The outer peripheral radius rs of the spacer ring, the outer peripheral radius rd of the magnetic disk, the inner peripheral radius rh of the magnetic disk and the outer peripheral radius rc of the disk receiving part and the clamp member are in the relation of (rc-rh)/rd<0.1<(rs-rh)/rd<0.15.
