PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately discriminate charged coins and to easily and reliably reject charged false coins. SOLUTION: In an automatic commodity vending machine 10, another control part 16 including a door control part 16a having display lamps and commodity buttons, a carry-out control part 16b for controlling a commodity discharge mechanism, etc., and a main coin identification machine 18 having 1st and 2nd magnetic sensors 24, 26 for acquiring magnetic data are connected to a main control part 12 in parallel through a communication line 14. Further, sub-coin identification machines 22a, 22b, and 22c having detection sensors 28, 30, etc., are connected to the main coin identification machine 18 in parallel through an identification device communication line 20 different from the communication line 14. Until a commodity button is pressed after a charged coin is discriminated by the main coin identification machine 18 and an amount is displayed on the display lamp or until a selected commodity is discharged, the charged coins are discriminated again by the sub-coin identification machines 22a to 22c.
