<p>The invention provides a composition for use in the application of a strip (28) to an edge (14) of a porous workpiece (16), which composition includes polyurethane and ABS, the amount of polyurethane and ABS together amounting to 100 percentage by mass of the composition, and the mass ratio of polyurethane to ABS being between 35: 65 and 45: 55. The invention extends to a method for the application of the strip (28) to the edge (14) of the porous workpiece (16) which includes heating the composition, extruding a strand of the composition on the workpiece and moulding the extruded strand into a desired shape. The invention extends further to an article which includes a porous workpiece (16) to which a strip (28) has been applied using the conposition.</p> |
