A socket ratchet wrench adapter has a link fitting, one end of which engages with the wrench insert (8), and the other end engages with a locknut (20) forming part of the ratchet (7) part of the wrench (6). The lock nut (20) esp. has a hexagonal (22) head which engages with the ratchet in any presentation. The adapter (5) is detachable from the wrench (6) ratchet (7).
