The temporary holder for a glazing panel of a large vehicle has a lower clamp (1) on the interior lower side of a door of the vehicle to form an assembly ridge to retain the lower edge of the glazing panel. An upper clip also on the inner side of the door retains the upper edge of the glazing panel. A stop engages an outer side of the upper edge of the glazing panel in contact with the upper clamp with the panel in a position in which the lower edge of the panel is engaged with the lower ridge.
