The safety device may be moved around by hand using a pair of wheels (4) with an axle (8). The axle is mounted on struts (7) whose angle may be adjusted by a telescopic strut (9a,b) with a locking screw (10). The struts are fastened to a C-shaped trough (2) with reinforcing ribs (6) near the top edges and a hinge (5) at one side for a C-shaped lid (3). When the lid is closed, the assembly makes a circular-section tube (1).
