The sides of the conveyor (1) are formed by C-profiles (2) extending in the length direction and adjacent C-profiles resting on top of each other are connected together by cross-direction shafts (3). Drive rolls (5), guide rolls (6) and support rolls (7) for endless conveyor belts (4) are mounted on the ends of these shafts. The belts are used to support skids (8) for supporting the vehicle bodyworks.
