The breaker layer(3) includes, at least in the central area, bundles of spirally twisted fibers. A number of cords have left hand twisted fibers(S) and an equal number have right hand twisted fibers(Z). An Independent claim is made for a vehicle tire, particularly for motor cycles, with equal numbers of Z- and S-twist cords in the central area of the breaker.
