Date stamp has U-shaped protective casing (20) with covering sections (23) covering stamp bands (15) so user does not get ink on hands when setting date using adjustment disks (14) which protrude through slots (22) in the casing. Stamp frame (13) is rotatably attached to holder (12) and ink pad is inbuilt in housing (10).
