The adjustable length door lock cylinder has an inner and outer cylinder sections with a connecting middle housing (15) having push in housing half sections (13,14) fixed by screws (27). The housing halves receive the respective cylinder cores (4,5) which are fixed in place. A coupling shaft (12) is mounted in the inner cylinder core and spring biased towards the outer housing section.
