A Bluetooth access authentication apparatus and a method thereof are disclosed. The access authentication apparatus of the present invention authenticates a visitor by using an authentication code provided from a visitor terminal connected with Bluetooth, and controls to open a door only for the authenticated visitor. Moreover, the access authentication apparatus of the present invention prevents the generation of a door opening event by an unintended Bluetooth connection with an indoor visitor terminal by separately installing an indoor antenna and an outdoor antenna.
