<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for mounting a buried sign lamp and a buried sign lamp device comprising the mounting device, superior in long term reliability, and capable of replacing the buried sign lamp in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: This device for mounting buried sign lamp A comprises a base 10 having an opening edge 11 on its upper face, including a receptacle 13 connected to the wiring W in the piping, and buried in a road surface, and an adaptor 20 comprising an adaptor body 21 having a recessed part 21a receiving the buried sign lamp C, and mounted on the opening edge 11 of the base 10, a power source terminal block 22 exposed to an inner face of the recessed part 21a of the adaptor body 21 and connected to a receiving terminal 50 of the buried sign lamp C, and a plug 23 led from the power source terminal block 22 to a rear face side of the adapter body 21 and connected to a receptacle 13 in the base 10.
