PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure an antigen which is an electrochemically inactive object to be detected.

SOLUTION: Electric charges are transferred between an electron transferring substance 8 in a labelled antigen 6 liberated by a substitution reaction of the antigen 31 that is a substance to be measured with a labelled antigen 6 labelled by the substance 8 and an electrode active material 5 in a measured liquid 9. The transferred electric charges are measured as an electric current value, which allows measurement of the antigen, an electrochemically inactive object to be detected.
