PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic diaphragm type solenoid valve in which reduction in solenoid actuating force (sucking force) is prevented at the time of letting high temperature gas flow, while downsizing a solenoid driving portion and reducing electric poser consumption. SOLUTION: In this metallic diaphragm type solenoid valve 10, a first air layer 13 is formed between a body 40 and a core assembly 20, and a second air layer 14 is formed between the body 40 and a diaphragm retainer 34. A first top portion 24a and a second top portion 34a are formed, and a connecting area at a connecting portion between the diaphragm retainer 34 and the core assembly 20 and at a connecting portion between the body 40 and the diaphragm retainer 34 is made to be small.
